HERD & SHEAR GROOMING PARLOUR POLICIES
**By booking your dog in for our services you are agreeing to our policies.
I may refuse service if you are regularly unreliable or let your dog go too long in-between its individual groom requirements.
CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS AND LATE ARRIVALS

If you need to cancel your appointment, we request at least 48 hours notice.

New clients or casual clients (returning after 4 months) are required to pay a deposit of $75 (Payment must be made within 48hrs to secure the appointment) PAY ID herdandshear@gmail.com

Any cancellation made less than 48hours will result in a loss of the deposit or a cancellation fee $75 of the appointment fee.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your service, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee apply.

A no-show of a scheduled appointment will incur a no-show fee of 100%, payable before a new appointment can be rescheduled.

Any cancellations made in 3 hours or less will be classified as a no show.
DROP OFF/PICKUP

Please bring your dog into the salon with a lead and collar/harness.

Please ensure your dog has been toileted before its appointment.

Please note there may be other groomers working in the salon, dogs will be kept separate at all times and may be crated if suitable.

Please pick up your dog after you have received your message.

A late pick up may result in a fee of $1 every minute after 30mins of expected pickup time.
We may take photos/videos of your dog for social media purposes please let us know if you do not give us permission.
HEALTH

Please inform us of any existing health conditions your dog may have had or any negative grooming experiences.

Please ensure your dog is up to date with their worming and flea treatments.

Bringing an unvaccinated dog into the salon is done so at your own risk.

Existing skin conditions can be exposed with de-matting and clipping of your pet.

Whilst we take care to ensure no injury occurs during your dog’s grooming visit. IF your dog does sustain an injury as a direct result of the condition of your dog’s coat such as matting, we will not be held responsible.
Removing matts from a dog can cause rashing and haematoma’s even when clipped carefully.
GROOMING
We reserve the right to modify your dog’s haircut and price in accordance with coat condition.

If it has been longer than 8 weeks between visits;

If no brushing has been undertaken at home in between visits;

If your dog is matted and your dog experiences pain and distress when being groomed out;

Casual return visits may result in an added cost for matting , extra time taken and extra products used.
